Learning Poker Tricks
Do you ever acquire that itch? The itch to bet, to head to the nearest casino, to locate a superior stakes casino game of Texas hold em, to sit at a Twenty-one table for hours on end. I really like that itch. And I really like to scratch it.
I also like to watch men and women wager. No 2 poker faces seem equal. When I wager I like to consider I put on a poker face that is impassable. Except I know I have particular actions. For 1, the only time I smoke cigarettes is when I bet on poker or Pontoon. And then I smoke. But I chain smoke whether or not I am winning or losing, whether or not I have a very good hand or bad.
I once wagered within a weekly poker game. The casino game was constantly five card draw. There was a gentleman who played with us every single week who usually wore a hat. When he was given a good hand, subconsciously, he would begin touching and playing with his hat. Needless to say, he by no means won.
The very best poker gambler I ever saw was a guy who created far more movements and gestures at a poker table than anybody I had ever seen. He was impeccable in the way he dressed. Usually an high priced suit and tie, shoes shined and nails trimmed. He was meticulous in this manner. And he was generally brushing his pants or holding his hands or putting his chips in tidy little piles.
I use to study him for long periods of time. I would attempt to see if I could spot his tell. Choosing lint off his shirt- did this mean he was bluffing? Stacking his chips within a short pile – did this mean he had a great hand?
Several years later I ran into him inside a bar in Chicago, il and we had a drink. I asked him if he have been aware of all those movements he made or if they had been unconscious. He told me that each and every little thing he did at a poker table was intentional. He said that everyone is always checking out everybody else’s poker face. They are attempting to spot the the tell.
So his program was to provide them lots to believe about. His reasoning was if they were thinking about him selecting a piece of fuzz off his jacket and what it meant they sure were not pondering about their cards.
His process was distraction. And it worked for him. In no way give up a technique that operates for you.
