Double-hand Poker is a current game with old origins. Built on the old Chinese domino game and the current American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker marries the far east with the west in an excellent game for starting gamblers.
Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the player versus the croupier, not like the majority of other poker games that players wager with other players. By competing against the dealer, beginner players do not need to be concerned about any other, more experienced individuals taking their money.
One more Pai Gow edge is the generally leisurely game play, newcomers can take their time and scheme while not having to make hasty decisions.
It’s also much simpler to wager on for an extended time with basically a small amount of money after all, to lose, both of your hands must be lower than both of the dealer’s hands.
Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the familiar 52-card basic deck and one joker. The player is given 7 cards face up and the dealer gets 7 cards faces hidden.
One 5 card hand and one two card hand need to be made from the seven cards, the 5 card hand must be stronger than the two card hand. To win, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be higher than the casino’s.
