Web poker has become world acclaimed as of late, with televised tournaments and celebrity poker game events. Its universal appeal, though, stretches back quite a bit farther than its TV ratings. Over the years many types on the original poker game have been created, including a handful of games that are not in fact poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of the above-mentioned games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely resembling blackjack than old guard poker, in that the players bet against the dealer instead of the other players. The succeeding hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is no concealment or other kinds of deception. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to ante up prior to the croupier declares "No further bets." At that moment, both you and the house and of course all of the other players receive 5 cards each. After you have observed your hand and the casino’s initial card, you must either make a call wager or surrender. The call wager’s value is on same level to your beginning ante, meaning that the stakes will have doubled. Giving Up means that your bet goes immediately to the bank. After the bet comes the face off. If the dealer doesn’t have ace/king or greater, your wager is returned, including a figure on par with the initial bet. If the dealer has a hand with ace/king or better, you win if your hand beats the casino’s hand. The house pays cash equal to your wager and fixed expectations on your call bet. These odds are:
- Even for a pair or high card
- two to one for two pairs
- 3-1 for three of a kind
- four to one for a straight
- five to one for a flush
- seven to one for a full house
- twenty to one for a four of a kind
- 50-1 for a straight flush
- 100-1 for a royal flush
