• Novice Strategy for Double-Hand Poker

    [ English ]

Pai Gow Poker is a current game with ancient origins. Based on the ancient Chinese tile game and the modern American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker bands together the east with the west in a great game for starting players.

Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the player versus the croupier, unlike most other poker games that gamblers compete with other gamblers. By playing against the dealer, new players do not have to worry about any other, more experienced people taking their cash.

An additional Pai Gow benefit is the fairly slow game play, beginners should be able to take their time and plan without needing to make hasty decisions.

It is also simpler to wager on for a very long time with only a tiny amount of money after all, to lose, each of your hands has to be lower than each of the dealer’s hands.

Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the regular 52-card standard deck and a single joker. The gambler is assigned seven cards faces showing and the house receives seven cards faces hidden.

One five card hand and a two card hand need to be put together from the 7 cards, the five card hand must be stronger than the 2 card hand. To win, a player is required to have both of his hand values to be larger than the casino’s.
